Cities Recently Approved for Support
The following cities have recently received approval in principle for CDIA support on December, 2012:
- Yongzhou, People’s Republic of China
- Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic
These cities have applied to receive technical assistance in Infrastructure Investment Programming, Project Assessment and the preparation of Pre-Feasibility studies (PFS), which will address various issues in key sectors such as transport, slum upgrading and wastewater management.

Yongzhou, People’s Republic of China was given approval at the CMT Meeting of December 2012. Support will focus on domestic Waste Comprehensive Management and Xiang River Ecological Comprehensive Management Projects.

Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic was given approval at the CMT meeting of December 2012. Support focuses on the areas of urban renewal, urban transport and energy efficiency.
